A preschool that lives inside the day
The preschool block sits inside the daycare day rather than beside it. Children who are here full-time simply move into it at 9:00, there is no separate drop-off, no separate room, and no switching adults. That continuity is intentional: a young child learns best when the person guiding their letters is the same person who greeted them at the door, and the space they work in is the same space they already feel safe in.

What makes it work
Our care at a glance
Literacy at this age is about sounds, stories and mark-making long before it is about reading. Children hear language modelled constantly, retell stories in their own words, and begin to connect letters to the sounds they make. Early math is just as hands-on: counting real objects, noticing patterns, comparing sizes and quantities. Because it is play, children don’t experience it as pressure, they experience it as the most interesting thing in the room.

Why the small group matters
Getting ready for kindergarten
Through a balance of structured learning, exploration, creativity and movement, children develop the skills needed for a smooth transition into kindergarten, the practical ones as much as the academic. They leave able to sit with a task, follow a multi-step instruction, manage their own belongings, recognise letters and sounds, and count with meaning. Just as importantly, they leave able to ask for help, wait a turn, and recover from a hard moment.
