Your child’s care is led by a certified Early Childhood Educator, in a small, stable group, so the faces your child sees every day are familiar, comforting and trusted.
Small group, familiar faces
With a group of up to sixteen children, your child isn’t just one of forty. They are known for their routines, cues and the support they need on difficult mornings. Consistency is key: the same small team is here every day, so the relationship your child builds in the first week is the one they keep all year.
Qualifications & safety
Gentle Giants is licensed by Fraser Health (licensee: Eesha Moudgil) as Group Child Care for 30 months to school age, with a capacity of 16; you can find us on the Fraser Health public list of licensed child care facilities. Care is led by a certified Early Childhood Educator, and every educator working with the children holds an ECE or ECE Assistant certificate, as BC licensing requires. Families can expect:
- A certified ECE leading the programme and the daily routine, with a licensed 1-to-8 educator-to-child ratio.
- Current first aid & CPR training.
- Criminal record checks, including vulnerable sector checks, for everyone working with the children.
- The health, safety and supervision standards required of a licensed facility.
- Ongoing professional development, so our practice keeps growing.
How we care
Our educators plan the weekly learning experiences, guide the morning preschool block, lead outdoor play and nature walks, and run the afternoon music-and-movement circle, all while keeping the calm, predictable routine that helps young children feel secure. They share regular daily updates so you stay connected to your child’s day.
