Ages & programs

Children aged 3–5 years. We provide early childhood education and care for this age group and currently do not offer infant, toddler, or before-and-after school care.

No. The morning preschool program runs from 9:00 to 10:30 and is integrated into our full-day care, meaning one drop-off, one room, and the same educators.

Our center operates with a small, intimate group size of up to 16 children for the entire facility.

We are Montessori-inspired. Our approach blends Montessori methods with Reggio-influenced creativity, guided exploration, and nature-based learning.

Yes. We offer morning preschool programming year-round, except during our scheduled closures.

Yes. School readiness is built into our daily routines, covering early literacy, math, self-regulation, and social skills.

The day

We are open Monday to Friday, from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM.

The morning preschool lesson runs from 8:30 AM to 12:30 AM each day and is built directly into our full-day care program.

We have a designated quiet period from 12:45 PM to 2:15 PM. Children who do not sleep are offered story time and quiet tabletop activities.

No, we do not provide food. Families must pack and send all snacks and lunches from home each day. Scheduled snack times take place at 10:30 AM and 3:00 PM.

Yes, children go outside twice a day (weather permitting). They enjoy outdoor play and nature walks mid-morning, followed by free outdoor play again after their afternoon snack.

'Dancing Beats' is a musical circle at 2:30 PM where children play instruments, sing, move, and reconnect as a group right after quiet time.

Yes. Our small group size and low staff turnover ensure your child sees familiar teachers every day, helping them feel safe, comfortable, and settled.

We share regular daily updates with parents so you stay fully informed and connected with your child's activities and progress.

Closures

We are closed on all statutory holidays, for two weeks during winter break (aligned with the School District 33 calendar), and for one week during the last week of July.

We follow the Chilliwack School District for weather-related closures, including snow, ice, extreme heat, or power outages. If local schools close due to severe weather, we will close as well.

All scheduled closure dates are communicated to families well in advance so you can plan ahead.

Yes. Many British Columbia families qualify for the Affordable Child Care Benefit (ACCB) and other provincial funding programs. Contact us directly and we will help point you to the right information.
